These pieces display two versions of the familiar asa-no-ha kumiko pattern. They're purely decorative here, but this kind of work is also excellent for doors, panels, and room dividers. The frames have mitered spline construction, a technique often used on picture frames.
Materials: Cypress & Black Walnut. Frame finished with shellac.
